Dr. Kimberly Levine is a New York native, having grown up in Oceanside, New York. Dr. Levine received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Iowa State Univeristy College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, she spent a year pursuing additional training during a rotating internship, with an emphasis in emergency medicine. Since then, Dr. Levine has worked in various areas of veterinary medicine throughout the country, including emergency medicine, high volume surgery, feline exclusive medicine, and shelter medicine. She has developed strong interests in feline medicine, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. She is also an active member of the AVMA, LIVMA, and NYSVMA. Dr. Levine has since returned to her native roots and settled in New York to be closer to her family. She lives with her husband, their two cats, Nicholas and Olivia, their ferret, Locke, and their dog, Whembles. Whembles can often be seen resting in Dr. Levine’s office when he visits her at work. In her free time away from the clinic, Dr. Levine enjoys spending time with her nephew, walking on the boardwalk with her husband and Whembles, learning to paint, and swimming.
